We're excited to announce details of the first ever Savvy Writers' Fest, a day of learning and networking exclusively for published authors!
It will kick off with a panel covering how authors can sustain a long-term career. Industry expert Sam Missingham will be joined by the editor of The Bookseller Philip Jones, HarperCollins editorial director Phoebe Morgan, and another still t0 be announced speaker for a frank discussion on the burning issues that matter to published authors today. They will be sharing insights and advice on how authors can survive in this tough business and what trends to look out for in the future.
For those looking for agents, Caroline Hardman of Hardman & Swainson will be available for one-to-ones. Caroline is agent to bestsellers such as Dinah Jefferies, Helen Fields and the queen of Savvy Writers, our very own Tracy Buchanan among many others!
Finally, your afternoon will be dedicated to taking your craft up a level with the choice between two workshops run by global bestsellers Sophie Hannah and Amanda Prowse.
Oh and not to forget catching up with your fellow authors (or some quiet time to write in one of the venue's little nooks if you have a deadline) over a buffet lunch plus the chance to go for drinks after if you simply can't bear to put an end to such literary goodness!
Sound good? If you want to be part of what is sure to be an inspiring and insightful day, make sure you book your place now as there are LIMITED SPACES! If you need even more information to make your mind up, click on the menu items below.
